Do you charge a rescheduling fee if I have something come up and have to cancel?

There are no rescheduling fees, life happens! Please provide as early of a notice as possible. However, If the appointment is not cancelled before the scheduled appointment time, you will be charged a two-hour minimum fee.

Do you only do house cleaning?

Houses and offices.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?

Yes, I bring all of my own cleaning supplies. However, it is based on your preference whether I use your vacuum or the company vacuum.

Is it just you cleaning or are you bringing a team of people with you?

Currently it will just be me cleaning with the occasional trainee accompanying me. Residents will be notified of all individuals on the job.

Do you accept credit card?

I accept Cash, Check, PayPal, and Debit\Credit (through PayPal invoice). Payments must be received by the end of the appointment.

If I forget to leave you a cash or a check, do you still do the work and let me pay you later, or skip the cleaning?

If payment is forgotten, the service will still be complete, and the payment must be complete by the end of the appointment by either bring the money by or paying through PayPal.

Am I supposed to tip you for your service?

Tips are welcome and appreciated but not mandatory.

Do you clean up after parties?

Yes.

If my regular cleaning falls on a holiday, will you be working?

Holidays scheduled off will be listed in the “hours” tab. If your cleaning falls on one of these holidays- It will be scheduled for any desired open slot.

Do you charge more to work on holidays?

Holidays that are not listed on the “hours” tab, will get charged at the same rate.

Am I supposed to give you a key to my house or a door code? How will you protect my privacy with either?

You can provide a door code or key or have someone there temporarily to let me in. Any of your information will be kept on file with a passcode and keys are stored in a lock box until needed for your appointment. As owner of the company, I am the only one with access to keys and stored information.

Do I need to be home when you come to clean, or can I be a work?

As long as we have an arrangement on how I can enter your house, you can be at work or running errands.

I work from home; would it bother you if I’m here the whole time? Would you talk to me or allow me to get my work done?

You can work from home while I clean! I won’t bother you while you work, as long as you don’t mind the occasional sound of a vacuum, you won’t even know I’m there.

Have you ever been fired from a house and why?

I have never been fired from a house.

Do you do laundry, wash dishes or empty the dishes washer?

Per agreed upon request- services may also include washing dishes and\or emptying dish washer. However, laundry is not included.

Is it okay for my pets to be present in the same room you are cleaning.

Yes! Be sure to introduce me to your pet if they will be noticeably present- to ensure a safe environment for both your fur baby and I.

Is it okay for my kids to be present in the same room you are clearing?

Kids are preferred to not be in the same room as it is being cleaned; not only to ensure their safety but to also save time on cleaning to make sure you get the most out of your service.

What happens if you get sick?

In the case that I get sick, I will request a reschedule for the next available slot.

How do you prefer to be contacted?

The best way to contact me is through email (directly, or through this site on the “contact” tab) or sending a text message. You can also contact me by calling- however, there is a chance I will be at a job when you do call, and I won’t call you back until I am finished- to ensure the current client’s house is getting my undivided attention.

Are you going to tell my neighbors about me, my home, my habits and how messy my house is?

No! Every client is valued, and their information is confidential.

How long have you been in business?

I have been cleaning homes and rental houses solo for 5 years- however, Maloney’s Cleaning Service is the official start of my company.
