  • Are you insured?

    Yes.

  • Do you work by the hour?

    Yes.

  • Do you charge a rescheduling fee if I have something come up and have to cancel?

    Appointments cancelled less than two hours before the scheduled appointment time, will incur a two-hour minimum fee ($70).

  • Do you only do house cleaning?

    We provide residential cleaning services in Johnson County as well as Commercial cleaning services in Wyandotte County!

  • Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?

    Yes, I bring all of my own cleaning supplies and equipment. However, it is not required but encouraged to provide your own personal vacuum.

  • Is it just you cleaning or are you bringing a team of people with you?

    At this time, I will be the sole cleaner, with occasional trainees joining me. Residents will be notified of all individuals on the job.

  • Do you accept credit card?

    I accept Cash, Check, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, and Debit\Credit (through PayPal invoice). Payments must be received by the end of the appointment.

  • If I forget to leave you a cash or a check, do you still do the work and let me pay you later, or skip the cleaning?

    If payment is overlooked, the service will still be completed. Payment must be made by the end of the appointment, either in person or through PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App.

  • Am I supposed to tip you for your service?

    Tips are welcome and appreciated but not mandatory.

  • Do you clean up after parties?

    Yes.

  • If my regular cleaning falls on a holiday, will you be working?

    Holidays scheduled off will be listed in the “hours” tab. If your cleaning falls on one of these holidays- It will be scheduled for any desired open slot.

  • Do you charge more to work on holidays?

    Holidays not listed on the 'Hours' tab will be charged at the regular rate.

  • Am I supposed to give you a key to my house or a door code? How will you protect my privacy with either?

    You may provide a door code, garage code, key, or arrange for someone to grant access. All information is securely stored with a passcode, and keys are kept in a lockbox until needed. As the company owner, I am the sole person with access to keys and stored information.

  • Do I need to be home when you come to clean, or can I be a work?

    Once we have an agreed-upon method for entry, you can go about your day—whether at work or running errands—while I clean your home

  • I work from home; would it bother you if I’m here the whole time? Would you talk to me or allow me to get my work done?

    You can work from home while I clean! I’ll respect your space and minimize disruptions, and as long as you don’t mind the occasional sound of a vacuum, you’ll hardly notice I’m there!

  • Have you ever been fired from a house and why?

    I have never been fired from a house.

  • Do you do laundry, wash dishes or empty the dishes washer?

    Per agreed upon request- services may also include washing dishes and\or emptying dish washer. However, laundry is not included.

  • Is it okay for my pets to be present in the same room you are cleaning.

    Please introduce me to your pet if they will be present, to ensure a safe environment for both your pet and myself. If your pets are aggressive or disruptive, kindly kennel them or place them in a separate room.

  • Is it okay for my kids to be present in the same room you are clearing?

    To ensure both safety and efficiency, it's preferred that children not be in the same room while it’s being cleaned. This allows for a more thorough and timely service.

  • What happens if you get sick?

    In the case that I get sick, I will request a reschedule for the next available slot.

  • How do you prefer to be contacted?

    The most efficient way to contact me is via email (either directly or through the 'Contact' tab on this site) or by sending a text message. You may also reach me by phone; however, please note that if I am on a job, I may not be able to answer immediately. In that case, I will return your call once I have finished, to ensure I am fully focused on the current client's needs.

  • Are you going to tell my neighbors about me, my home, my habits and how messy my house is?

    No! Every client is valued, and their information is confidential.

  • How long have you been in business?

    I have been cleaning homes and rental houses solo for 6 years- however, Maloney’s Cleaning Service is the official start of my company.
